Can someone recommend a good introduction to fractal geometry? Is there a
book that not only shows pretty pictures, but also describes practical
aspects of fractal geometry, and (more importantly) the underlying math?
(And in a way that doesn't require a Ph.D. in quantum physics to
understand!)
Thanks,
